A Conversation In My Head

Carly: Mom, you really need to update the blog.

Me: (Thinking) Really? As if I really have time to update a blog. Get up, go to work, go home, do homework/housework, go to rehearsal, go home, take shower, go to bed. I think I am busy enough. I don't have time to update a blog that nobody reads anyway. Can you imagine if I had more kids? I wouldn't even have time to pee! Good thing I am not Mormon. Not only would I have more kids to shuttle around, but I wouldn't even be available to do the stuff I barely get done now because I would be at church on Sundays. That doesn't even include FHE. I don't know how those women do it. Seriously. Update the blog...give me a break!

Me: (Out loud) Yeah, I'll get right on that.

(Btw, I feel comfortable enough to talk about Mormons because I am pretty sure the only 3 people who read this blog are!)

New School Blues

Carly is attending a new school this year. She only knows one other girl there, and she is new also. Fortunately, they ended up in the same class.

Monday: I don't like this school.
Tuesday: I don't like being the new girl.
Wednesday: It was a tiny bit better. One girl was nice to me at P.E. I like my teacher.
Thursday: A girl at my dance class waited for me at the door and said, "Come on, Carly!"

I know Friday will be even better.

Summer Camp Talent Show

It's Harry's Fault!

I have neglected my duties of updating our blog this summer. It is mostly due to the fact that when I have uninterrupted time to myself I have my nose in a Harry Potter book. My goal is to complete the entire series before the next movie hits theatres this month. I don't know if I will make it, as I am only on book four now. It's Official! Welcome Tiffany and Emily!

We are excited to have added two new Copps into the family! It was a beautiful wedding, and we couldn't be more thrilled with Scotty's choice in brides (and a bonus daughter, too)! Unfortunately, these are the only pictures I took. I don't even have one of the bride and groom together! I hope to post more later.
